Five months after setting out from the tip of Australia, marathon runner Erchana Murray-Bartlett has reached the country’s southern edge. The 32-year-old on Monday finished her 6,300km (3,900 miles) journey – a marathon every day for 150 days. Ms Murray-Bartlett’s effort sets a new world record for the most consecutive daily marathons by a woman. A pastor, Felisberto Sampaio and his wife, Inalda died as heroes while making an effort to save their 13-year-old son from drowning at Camaçari Beach in Paraíba, Brazil, last Tuesday. The teenage boy, Ian Sampaio was drowning and his parents jumped into the ocean to save him but they met their demise, according to Daily Mail. MTN Ghana Fined $773m For Tax lnfraction

MTN Ghana, a subsidiary of MTN Group, has been fined around $773m by the Ghana Revenue Authority for allegedly underreporting its revenue.  The fine includes penalties and interest charges. According to the GRA, MTN underreported its revenue in Ghana by about 30 per cent from 2014 to 2018. It disclosed that it was discovered after auditing the company for the years 2014 to 2018.
