Nigerian Billionaire Dies Watching S’Eagles, S’Africa Match In Ivory Coast

A businessman, Chief Osondu Nwoye, who is from Anambra State in Nigeria, but based in Cote d’Ivoire, has reportedly died from the shocking moments of the semi final match of the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations between Nigeria and South Africa.

The businessman, who was at the stadium in Bouake, slumped and died close to the end of the encounter.

Described as the richest Igbo businessman based in Cote d’Ivoire, a Facebook user, Chukwudi Iwuchukwu, said Nwoye Nwoye, who screamed at the top of his voice when Victor Osihmen scored the second goal that was disallowed by the Video Assistant Referee, collapsed thereafter.
